Any pc you dont build yourself genrealyl has these options locked out so the manufacturer doesnt have to solve any problems from people who have messed about with them

Please give your motherboard make and model , i will get you the latest bios and unlock any options that i can

I said this was possible in my first post.
And it is risky to flash a non standard BIOS to an OEM board.

Who Said Anything About Non Standard?

Its The Exact BIOS Given By The OEM - Just With The Options Unlocked

Its Exactly The Same BIOS File

Can You Give Me The Make And Model Of Your System

If you bought it from a shop it should be hp or dell or sony or toshiba etc

I cant use the one from asus site cos thats the retail bios not the OEM one

I wouldn't be too quick to flash my bios with a new file given to me by some guy on the internet with 8 posts....

My advice to the OP would be to buy a new motherboard and PSU, assuming that you have an ATX case and not BATX.

Let's not be so quick to judge. Everyone was new once, even OCN's most valuable experts.

Perhaps he'll provide a download link to the file straight from the manufacturer's website.

True, true. It was the "I'll start modding now" that made me take a step back. I just would hate to see the OP brick his mboard. But you're right, I will reserve judgement.

Hello everyone I'm a newbi to the site (so don't judge ha, ha).

If you install a nvidia graphics card you can download the software from their site.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.html[/URL]

The program is called Ntune.

This will allow you to set up a base line. Then you can oc your pc all you want.
You can let the program do the OC'ing or do it yourself.

It will allow you to set up diffrent OC'ing profiles for use with diffrent games and computers useage.

Only problem with this software. If you dont save the settings and add it to your stat-up programs list then you will have to start the program again and run the OC'ing profile you want everytime you start your pc.

If you do run it with your start-up list then make damn sure your setting are stable and you have no issues with it freezing up or blue screen of death.

I hope this helps you out and saves you some time and money.

Yeah, and the worst that can happen is you'll have to flash it back. Oh no, not that!

You're kidding, right? The worst that can happen is that his motherboard will become a paperweight. I'm not judging the guy, but I am warning the OP to be very wary of flashing his bios with a modded file from an unknown person.

Fine. Then let's wait a few months to see whether or not 1234s282 is reputable, and then we'll take it from there.
