Hi everybody, I have big issues with my new custom built pc. I'm not that great with the whole BIOS thing, so if you need information just say so and I can find it.
Motherboard: Asus P5N-T Deluxe Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Graphicscard: BFG GeForce GTX 285 OC+ Power Supply: Ultra X3 1000-watt RAM: OCZ Fatal1ty 4GB Dual Channel PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz (4 sticks, 2gb each) BIOS: I 'flashed' the Bios to version 1106. Windows: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit I've installed all drivers and stuff like that from the graphics card cd and the motherboard cd, and updated windows fully. The problem is, everything works la-di-dah until I try something 'graphical'. If I try the Aurora screensaver the whole computer just shuts off. I can also only play Counter-Strike: Source for about 10-20 seconds before either the graphics card stops working (the screen says no input, but the graphics card is still on, but the light on it turns red instead of the normal green) or the computer completely shuts off. This computer was built as a gaming pc.. WHAT IS WRONG! Please help! |
