Default o/c needed for introduction to learning how

heya folks just like to say hi to all and hope i can gain some valuable knowledge and help from the site and its members as i struggle to attempt to turn my pc into a decent gamer via overclocking.

i got the system originally custom made for me and since i have had it it has struggled from day one.. atm i only have 1 9800gx2 in there as i am awaiting a replacement 2nd. but even with 2 i was only getting 16,600 from 3dmark under factor default settings.

i would like to learn how to clock a system personally but initially i would like a senior modder here on the forum to assist me with a basic "safe" overclock for my system please

i understand these things are trial and error but i seriously am pretty green on this

Hi, You should post this in the nvidia area. It will get more exposure there and the Nvidia Gur's can help you out.

Also If you don't fold then there are people here who would more than likely trade you for a higher end card because your card is good for folding. you may want to look into this before adding a second one.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but I don't OC vid cards for 3d gaming anymore only folding.

This goes without saying but
1. If you can't afford to lose it don't mod or OC it.
2. At least read the OP before commenting.
