Default EVGA x58 SLI Mobo starts up slow

Hi,

My system (even when not overclocked) takes like 10-20 seconds to get to POST in my CMOS. Before POST displays, the monitors are blank and the PC is on but there is nothing happening.

What could be the cause of this? I updated my BIOS to the latest version from EVGA and no difference.

Did you try reseting the SLI again? Like taking it out and putting it back in... dust out the slots... also make sure the configuration in bios is good... hope this help, if anything comes across my mind i'll post it up.

It's a known problem with that particular board. Head on over to the EVGA forums, and you'll see. I built a rig for my boss based around this board and it does the same thing.

I'm using default settings, I used "Load Defaults" in BIOS.

It does it on my board too. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
