Default Gigabyte-P35-DS3L Flash

This is my first time ever flashing my BIOS.

Can somebody explain to me how it works? My computer has just seemed so unresponsive, So I figured I give this a try.

Flashing isn't always the best idea if you have problems. Try reseting the CMOS first. Reset ram etc.

You can get a FAT32 formatted USB drive (they all come like that, so it should work out of the box unless you formatted it to NTFS yourself), copy the bios to it, then either boot to the drive and it will automatically flash, or go into the bios and hit F9 (I think thats the F key, check manual to be sure).

Just make sure to write your bios settings down (I always take pics with a camera), then reset bios settings to deafault, set the correct ram voltage, reboot, then flash bios. You just want to make sure not to flash with OCed settings. And make sure the ram is getting the required voltage because you dont want unstable ram when flashing the bios.
