Default Cant even access BIOS

Hi, I recently was messing with my bios and changed one of the Mhz frequencys from 133 mhz to 135 mhz. After I did this, I saved and exited the BIOS. Now my computer wont boot to bios. I cant even get a beep from the speaker, im not sure if this is because i have it hooked up to the wrong prongs or the fact that im not getting past POST. What can I do?

First try to clear CMOS if you have not already. Remove the battery for 15 mins or so retry. If this wont work try to manually clear it with the jumper.

ok right. your motherboard should have a battery or cmos switch .

if it has a battery you should pull it out and wait for 30 seconds or so (not sure on exact time). this will reset the bios and you will be able to boot.

if you have a cmos switch you press it and this will also reset the bios.

Hmm, well i have tried both of them, and neither of them seemed to work...unless im doing something wrong. I forgot to mention too, i tried clocking the thing from 133 to 166 mhz and the same thing happened around 2 days ago and resetting the battery worked, but now it just seems not to. Im not sure why bringing the mhz up by 2 could of caused this to happen and not be able to reset it.

remove mobo battery & let sit for at least 3 minutes.then put battery back in & see if it will boot, also when doing this unplug psu power cord too.

Removing the battery is too much work. Just move this jumper to the other position for like 10 seconds, then move it back to the original position. It is usually red and near the battery.

The real question is why did you go in and change thing in your BIOS that you did not understand.
