Default Motherboard might not be dead

so i just learned that the reason my mobo doesn't have beeps is because theres no internal speaker on antec 900. i just took my old small speaker out of my other OLD case and tested on my p35-ds3l. the beep was short continious beeps. in the mobo manual it refers short continious beeps to power error. so could this mean my psu is the problem?

p.s i flashed the mobo and it stated it was successful but upon restart i would get a blank screen/ no post. so far i think the culprit is still the mobo but could it be the psu? the psu never had issues before and i doubt flashing the bios could kill a psu. the psu i have is also a high quality one too.

any suggestion on what to do? i might to use another psu tomorrow to test, also could this power error be the mobo or is it always refering to the psu?
