Exclamation Can't find OC settings in my BIOS

my bios is American Megatrends inc. ver 1.60
mainboard is ECS elitegroup type: k7vza; chipset VIA; model: p4vt8
Prc: Pentium 4
and i've updated bios up to 1.60 ver. and im still not see settings to change my fsb speed or anything to do overclocking can anybody help or give me little advise ? I just wanna know that my bios is able to overclock my P4. Just one thing i know that my mainboard suppots 133mhz fsb thats all i know (

It could just be that board has no support for overclocking...

Is your PC a OEM PC such as Dell, Emachines, Tiny etc?

If that is the case it is unlikely that the Bios will have any overclocking functions..... sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Make sure you are looking under the right heading.. it should be like frequency/voltage control, then set the cpu clock if its greyed out make it user set.

No i have standard PC But what exacly is the OEM PC ?? im tottal beginner in this case

I've checked everything and nothing named freq or cpu clock there is only voltage but not control i dunoo what to do ?? If i get some time i will send image advanced option of my BIOS Thanqs for advise guys

Hello again,

By what i mean an OEM pc (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is one that is built by a company (Dell for instance) as opposed to you buying individual retail items and putting them together yourself OEM PC's are renowned for having totally locked Bios's hence the question.

If you were to fill out your system specs in the user CP (top left of the forum page) we would have a better understanding of what kit you have and make a more informed answer to your question

Well at the site they say there is a (Hybrid Booster - a safe overclocking feature) and in the manual it sayed it been in advanced menu in the bio's.

i havn.t Hybrid booster option in bios settings probably this is my fault of typing wrong name od mainboard P4VT8 without "+" :P my mistake that becouse why i'm not having this fearture but thanqs anyway
