the new restocks on the egg are no longer d9gmh as seen here

No, just get the E6300. there is a very minor performance difference, not worth $40 IMO.

Ok I got the e6300 from frys for 180. They had one with 3 yr warranty for 194, but you had to get a combo with a mobo and a bunch of BS.

I also got in the mail my Firestix!!! yey!!!

How can I remove the heatsink on the firestix and make sure they are d9s?

I have been looking to this thread , andyou have changed of gpu three times! funny.
But i think you have a solid rig there and the gpu is the best bang for the buck IMO!

Ok.

I ordered a Tuniq Tower 120 from xoxide on Saturday!

I have 2 WD 74gb hard drives won on eBay (screaming fast RAID 0!!!)

Here are some pics of the ram and cpu







The cpu on the bottom reads L634A890.

It is nearly impossible to get a good picture of it in the case.

The total thus far is under $1k!!! Yey!

Anyone have ANY solution to removing the ram heatsinks?

Take the 2 aluminum clips off on the top to get rid of the ram heatsinks.

Still have yet to recieve the Tuniq Tower and my two raptor 74gbs.

Im thinking of maybe buying a CPU HS and cheap SATA so I can play around until the big boys come around, then return the CPU HS and HDD.
