mobo = p5b deluxe

psu = pc power and cooling 750

hard drive = 2x seagate 7200.10 250gb (perpendicular recording) (or 2x 320gb for an extra $30)

video card = x1950xt

cpu cooler = scythe infinity

memory = crucial ballistix 1066 stuff (its yellow and $310 on newegg)

case = thermaltake armor with 25cm side fan

optical drive = something for like $30, that lg on newegg with 18x write speed

course with your budget you could go 8800gts instead of x1950xt

I'll spec you a full system when you get time, but I would recommend the X1950XTX and two Samsung SpinPoint P120S 250GBs, as well as the PC Power and Cooling 750 recommended in the last post, along with a AC Freezer 7 Pro

i think he either already has or already has his mind set on getting the 6600, thats why he specifically said the 6600 in the first post.

thats the ram and mobo and gfx card i was talkin about. all good choices

why not these instead of those 160gb drives. their only $10 more
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16822148144

case would be your own personal opinion.

i still recommend the pc power and cooling

Western Digital's last longer and are a lot quieter than Seagate. WD is the only HDD to get. By the way, those are 250GB WD drives...
