Good to hear... say, when you say you're getting load temps with TAT, do you mean you're running Orthos or Prime 95 on both cores or using the built in stress test (in TAT, the start buttons).

As I understand it, TAT REALLY stresses the CPU beyond what even the most demanding applications will ever require, so don't feel too bad as long as you keep it below 60, and below 55 for Orthos/Dual-Prime 95.

The cooler is efficiently cooling my CPU below 55 even @ 3.2GHz. I have VCore at 1.325 though.

Good luck and keep us posted...

Oh is that why? Yeah TAT seems real crazy. Once you press start, temps go up like VOOM! I remember it was little lower with the prime 95. Haven't tried the DualPrime95 or Orthos. I'll try them too.

Thats becasue when TAT is enabled it passes current through all transistors in the CPU.

Cool.

Now, I've tried to go higher with the clock speed and tried lowering the vcore but anything above 2.94 Ghz results in system crash. I can get to windows but it'll either reboot by itself or I gets an error when booting up.

I also tried memtest and I think it was test 6, I got a whole bunch of errors. It might've been 5. Anyways I don't know what else to try. I don't actually need a higher speed but I'd like to see what other ways there are. I thought maybe I could change the RAM ratio from 1:1 to 5:4 but I couldn't figure out how.

And I started folding last night he he Oh, when I have the display for the folding program going, my computer freezes at higher clock speeds. (>2.94)
