Looks like a good build. Personally out of the ram you have chosen I would go with the Gskill or the Crucial. The case is a great one, I used to own one, the processor is also a good choice, as it has alot of overclocking to give. The PSU is from a good company, however, it wont be enough for crossfire later one, so if thats something you are thinking about, then you might consider getting a beefier PSU.

I do have alot of problems with your choice of mobo however. First off, its based on the 680i chipset, which is great if you are planning on running SLI, however, you will not be able to run crossfire on it, and as you are going to get R600... why get a board that doesnt really support it to its fullest. If you are only going for a single card solution and you know you will not want to do crossfire later on you should consider the P5B Deluxe. You will get better overclocks then with the 680i and wont have to worry about all the early adopter troubles that owners of the 680i are dealing with. Should your aspirations lie with Crossfire the logical thing to do will be to wait for DFI/Asus to release their RD600 boards.

Seems like a good base build there.

Im Inclined to agree about the motherboard. I think you would be better off with a Motherboard like the P5B Delux Or the DFR RD600.

I'm currently thinking about a single card, since I don't have the money for XFire right now . But I do want a motherboard which will support XFire for the R600.
And do you have any info on the RD600? Have'nt heard about it till now
Is it better than the 680i? will it have support for FSB 1333, and Quad core?

Sure, so far the only two confirmed RD600 boards I know of are DFI/Asus. The DFI board is supposed to be released at the end of this year or early next year. It will be the last "ATI" board for intel, as AMD acquired ATI a while back. It is supposed to be an even better overclocker then the Intel boards and the 680i chipset. Im not sure if it will have native support for 1333, however, I cant imagine it "not" having support for it. And yes, it will support quad core.

Maybe I'll just go with the 680i, since after ATi releases the R600, nVidia will probably release some other monster!

And, if I get the Zalman CNPS 9700, will I beable to OC the E6600 to about 3.2 to 3.4 Ghz with temps less that 60C at load? And is the 9700 REALLY very quiet?
Basically, what I want for the CPU cooler is something that will OC it to ~3.3Ghz stable @<60C at load, and QUIET! I was thinking about The Tuniq Tower, but will it "snap" off a mobo, or bend it?

The 9700 is a good Cooler and yes it is very Quite. It all depends how far temp wise you can ocv with that cooler..It depends alot on how much Voltage you ill put through that CPU..However its a very capable cooler.
