That looks like a really good and balanced rig to me!

Also do you need the WI/FI P5B Deluxe board??
if your gonna be using wired networking, just get the regular P5B Deluxe,
ASUS P5B Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
it will save you a couple bucks

K, don't buy the Super-Talent anymore, they don't seem to have Micron D9s anymore they were, now they have some other, perhaps PROMOS.

And here is the review: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=124992

Go to post # 13.

So, I'll have highly advice on buying the G.Skill DDR2 800 HZ, as your original plan was/is.

Thanks for making my choice for getting new ram even harder... First the firestix's are no where to be found, now this. I really didn't want to spend more then 300 for ram.

damn, the Micron D9 were the only reason to get them, oh well back to the g skill.

now the only question i have is if the extra 355 or so is worth it over the original build, and what are the most vital upgrades performance wise from the original to the revision?

Trying to save a little bit of money

Get the G. Skill HZ. It's a really good overclocker and I think it can reach 3-3-3-8 timings at a pretty high DDR2 speed. $304, it's the ones I suggested earlier.

That rig looks amazing! I can't wait to see how far you can overclock that. And, that CPU cooler, get a Tuniq Tower if ones in stock, I can almost garentee you can fit it in a Nine Hundred.
