if your going to spend $304 on ddr2800 ram with D9's might as well spend another 5 and start off at ddr2 1000 with these crucial ballistix

hmm, no it will fit in my budget I will just need to wait a little longer than planned.

with the dd2 1000 crucial ballistix linked above what kinda of OC's do you think i could get with this system assuming i don't get a POS chip.

I would definitely NOT get that sound card. Go for X-Fi XtremeMusic.

im not sure, i have yet to build mine. i have to imagine that it wouldnt be as stressing on the ram though. start at ddr2 800 and can go up to 1000 with D9's or start out at ddr2 1000 with D9's. so your with the ddr2 1000 you would probably be able to overclock higher without having to raise the vdimm (i think thats the ram voltage) as much and what not.

sorry i doubt that made any sense, im tryin to study for exams and post at teh same time
