Default C2D Gaming Rig Confirm Before I Oder
Hey guys, I've been trolling the forums for awhile. I'm ready to upgrade and am trying to keep it relatively cheap. I'm using a laptop right now so everything needs to be new. Anyways, here is what I'm thinking about. This is going to be the first rig i put together so bear with me.
Original Total: $1,464.90 before rebates 1372.90 after

Further RevisedTotal: $1,803.89 before rebates 1725.89 after

Any suggestions comments or tips?
Budget is semi-flexible

For a first time builder you sure did pick quality parts. I would say that is going to be a great build! All of the parts look good to me. Really, no complaints from me at all. Evidently all the trolling paid off, we rubbed off on you.

Only thing I might consider would be a better graphics card. If you can swing the $20 or so you could get a 7900GT... that would be good for the monitor... click here

I'd get a bluegears B-Enspirer over that Sound Card, and maybe bump down to the non-WiFi Edition if you are not going to be using the WiFi. Also, you can get a SATA DVD Burner for $35 on newegg, check it out.

NONO dont get that optical drive get a dvdrw for 2 or 3 dollars more

Hey, check out my edits, I think your rig is excellent, though. I also have a Linky router and my brother has wired while 4 computers, one of them being me, is wireless.
