well if your system is the NB temp then 30c depedning if you got air cooling on it or jsut passive seems about right also depending on ambient temps
have you guys lapped your cpu's, i know that my 4300 was horribly concave in the center with the four corners much hihger then everything else, took a while with 800 grit to get everything flat this could kill your temps even witha nicely lapped tuniq or similer cooler

but still even if it is other way around why would my system temp be 13C, my ambient is 20C

MY e4300 is flat, i did not lap it yet cuz i want to see if it's defective or not (so i can still return it if it is defective) i'll lap it after some stable stock stress testing

yeah good point, could be a messed up temp sensor
do you have the latest bios, this will usually fix off temp readings as long as the tmep sensor is fine

it's the latest f10 bios, that was the first thing i did after assembling the thing
PERHAPS it is just the awsome power of INFINITY that REALLY is the AWSOME to the MAX heat spreading capability that MAKES it 13C which OWNS water cooling........... yup (do not take that seriously) UPDATE FEB 15TH, CABLE MANAGEMENT well this is my first shot ever at cable management, lots of electrical tape and wire origami... I tried my best to move the cables away from the mobo and keep all wires out of all of the fans still quite messy though, GameXtream wires are really long

*UPDATE*
OK:::: I am running everything on stock so: E4300 at 1.8Ghz Xtreem mem at 200Mhz (200mhz underclock so 1:1) Video card is stock i don't understand my temp... TAT shows 33C idle while Core temp shows much lower (same with my mobo) and 50C stress. I don't know which to believe, because the Core Temp would be too low, and TAT would be a bit high for stock. TAT sees my proc as Pentium M whereas Core Temp reads everything correctly.... (oh right I tried touching the scythe infinity and it's not hot at all, not even that warm. It is a lapped scythe infinity with mounting mod) also check out my hd benchmark running on: 2x Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200.10 16mb Cache on JMicron Raid-0 with 32k stripe. Is this slow for raid 0? It seems too slow, didn't even beat SATA 150mb/s speed and average read is awful, i've seen single drives outperform this omg what's wrong with all these benches.... helpppppppppp (more benches to come, i'll oc it after some of this is fixed)

*UPDATE*
__________________OK after looking and researching on the Temp issue, I believe Core Temp is the more accurate one. So here is my story so far: Initial OC I jumped right to 333fbs (2997mhz) on stock voltage (1.325v) and it boots. But Orthos failed in 1 sec although windows booted fine. I upped the vcore and same thing happen. So I was like ***, is my e4300 crap?? Voltage is Life Turns out DS3 read all my Team Xtreem stats wrong. It was only giving it 1.8v but xtreem needs 2.0v-2.2v. So I upped +0.2v. All of the timings were wrong too so I had to set them manually. Finally BAM stable all the way to 350fbs (3150mhz) on stock voltage (1.325v) for 2 hour Orthos. I didn't want to keep going to see how far stock can go so I jumped to 370fbs. Never Ending Vcore So 370fbs would post at stock voltage but will not boot windows AT ALL. So I upped voltage slowly and somehow this requires a very high voltage. Initially it would boot windows around 1.40v but Orthos fail immediatly. After attempts after attempts, It is right now running Orthos at 1.48v stable for almost an hour so far. This is some crazy voltage pumping. It makes me wonder if it is really possible for a 90%+ OC (I wanted 100% lol I guess I was dreaming) If the voltage to fbs ratio is really like that then hitting 380fbs would be like at least 1.53v. and 100%OC would be 400fbs some where around 1.6v+. Is it HOT? Not at all. I should have taken screenshots but I was tired and wanted to eat... at 350fbs idle around 21C-23C and 39C-42C on Orthos. On 370 right now (because of the extreme voltage) It's around 46C-48C on Orthos. I was around sub 16-20C, I made sure Core Temp was reporting correctly by using a thermometer and by touching the heatsink (which wasn't even warm). Note that I am using lapped Scythe Infinity + Mounting mod Morals and READ HERE FOR SUMMARY 1. E4300 is a great OCing chip which can hit 3ghz+ with stock voltage 2. DS3 has awful memory compatibilty 3. High OCs with E4300 requires very high overvolt. From my experience so far and reading other E4300 results, hitting 3.4ghz+ would need at least 18% overvolt 4. E4300 is a very cool chip at stock (by that I mean the temperature) 5. Wait for the price drop during Q2 and buy this chip if you're poor and want raw power 6. Forgot to say, USE the F9 bios for DS3 . DS3 won't boot if OC fails More to come: Pictures once I get my camera back, some screen shots of 370fbs (probably tomorrow) Any suggestions/comments, i have yet to up the FSB voltage and G) MCH voltage, and I don't even know what that is. Should I up my Dram core by another 0.1v? *EDIT* ok the machine is making the room way too warm lol my ambient is now 25C went from 20C and Ortho temp is around 54C. It's a small room (9 meter square) so i am opening my window for awhile

More pics of cable management and front panel fan. Centurion 5 came with 120mm rear fan and 80mm front fan (see pic) and I added my self a 92mm fan in the 5.25" bays (a scythe nmb 40 something cfm)

sounds nice. i should be getting my setup in a week maybe 10 days. but wow, 90% is nice. i have here a water setp i have from my skt 478 that is also compatible with 775 so i should be good with cooling but, wow. that seems real nice. i got sold all over again.
