Default First build in 5 years, need help....

Ok guys, so heres the deal. I havent really been into computers for awhile due to work and money, but now I'm ready to get back into the game. Heres my question, I have already bought a few items but wondering about the rest. This is what I have so far....

Intel Core2Duo E6300 1.83
Asus P5nSLi Motherboard
Pny Geforce DDR2 6600 Graphic card

I know the motherboard and graphic card are not so great...but I bought the board and card for 100 bucks off a guy that needed money. There more of a temporary parts till I have some more money.

I dont want the top of the line rig with the E6300 but I want something nice that will last a few years. I'll be doing some overclocking but nothing super intense.... I do alot of design work since I'm in the screen printing industry, and do alot of data transfer and store alot of videos so I would want a big and fast hard drive.

The parts I'm wondering about to get are...

Hard drive
Memory

Soon I will be buying a 680i SLi board......anything that would help is greatly helpful.

With the P5N you can go for some DDR2-667 RAM. Any manufacturer will do. OCZ is extremely compatible (from my experience anyway). For HDD, get a SATA II series HDD (3GB/sec). SATA is a little weird at first. It uses a tiny cable. Not like IDE at all. HELL of alot faster. Any maker is fine. Higher RPM's usually equals faster response times.

Shop at www.newegg.com. GREAT online computer parts store.

EDIT: Oh, if you are getting a i680 later on, you can buy some DDR2-1000 RAM and you will be set with the new Mobo. Crucial Ballistix PC28000 is awesome.
