thanks.. thats the plan.. right now im just slowly installing stuff.. getting the system prepped next step is to test the phase system make sure it works.. then install that as well.. i figure i should be done with the first 2 or 3 steps of my build by next weekend.. this will pretty much be a basic start and then i will upgrade as money permits to better stuff.. like way better ram some motherboard cooling.. i want to go water for pretty much everything else i have a nice loop but its only for the video card .. i mean why not add a northbridge block into the loop right.. and add some more active cooling to the ram and pwms and stuff like that..

here is a cpu-z of a mild oc .. it popped off around 19 seconds on super pi the temps might look nice at 29c but any attempt to prime these cores send the temps through the roof .. but i can certainly see some potential with this setup

tonight is the night i breakdown the board and grease it up and install the phase system im going to forgo the stock bench marks and stuff like that since i just want to jump right into the phase part of it.. on a side note the psu that was DOA turned out to have a really nice fan in it so i think i will find a way to put that into my system later.. grin a 69 dollar led fan.. nice right.. ill get back later with some more pics and hopefully some benches once i get it all setup

seasonic PSUs are usually small. my 600W is smaller than my old ultra 500W.

here are some more pics .. including the 69 dollar fan which ive yet to mod to work in the system
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() it sure is a mess.. it should be lots of fun doing cable management on this beast.. it will probably be a nightmare when i add the water loop and pump back inside too

thanks.. an update to the temp deal.. i installed speedfan.. it shows 3 temps but it doesnt say what they are..
temp 1 = 39c temp 2 = -53c temp 3 = -1 c how can i tell what these temps are relating too.. on the front of the phase system it says -51 so i dont know.. anyway its late im shutting it all down and going to sleep ..work comes early.. ALSO WANT TO SAY THANK YOU IN PUBLIC TO ADAS who sold me the case and phase system nearly a year ago for the price of 650.. i told him id put it to good use and im fineally keeping my word on it EDIT: decided to run orthos to test the temps.. temp too dropped down to -10.. so im gussing that is indeed the cpu and that the bios just doesnt know how to calculate those kinda temps.. so under full load is that a decent temp.. hell thats stock... tho.. thats kinda scary i think

the bios only reads at 30-40 c at all times.. its rather odd.. i added a fan right next to the northbridge heat sink and it dropped the temp 1 on my speed fan display by 4 degrees .. and the temp 2 seems to work with the cpu every time i stressed it goes up... ive yet to hear an alarm on the motherboard bios..
BY THE WAY .. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE CONDENSATION STARTS TO APPEAR WHEN USING PHASE ??????? this way i know how long i have to keep watching the motherboard and crap

lol i had condensation once and it made my mobo crap out about 10 minutes into operation,
another time i had a little tiny bit of condensation with my moutning kit and it started to corrode one of the little solder points on the back but this was like 6 months later and i didnt know about it till i took my system apart glad to hear you got it up and running man, good job, good luck with temp sensors they will be your next battle, most of stuff like TAT and coretemp will read 4C, it sounds like speedfan is close or representative kind of, its what i use but mine agrees with my bios mostly when you put it on did you check to make sure it was making good contact in the proper areas
