well i have determined the reasons for my poor overclocking performance of the e4300 on phase.. and that is i have a bunk second core i booted in at 3.61 to windows vista that was something like a 402fsb with a 1.595 or something for the vcore .. i decided to download and install prime95 i had a idea i wanted to test after seeing some orthos results .. first test.. ran prime95 with affinity set to cpu0 in both the process manager and with prime95 .. and let it run.. it tacked out 50percent total cpu .. but on the graph cpu0 was running at full.. i just left it there for a little bit and sure enough it ran strong and steady so i stoped it switched the affinitys over to cpu1 and ran the test again and sure enough with in id say 1 minute the errors started scrolling.. this can only lead me to believe that all attempts on this core is whats causing failures with stability.. im actually kinda curious how far i can push the first cpu before it too fails.. all well.. not sure if i can do anything to fix the second core.. i wonder if pushing more voltage would fix it like shock theropy for a dee da dee ... all well. i guess when the prices drop i can always pick up another one and see if i get better luck or maybe get one of the 4 meg cache versions instead

yea i dumped the phase a while ago.. it took to much power to run it was as bad as running a 110 ac wall unit all day long.. i do miss the benefits tho... and no i decided to hold off with this e2180.. 1 meg cache version.. and ride this out till the 45nm chips come out
