what should ram be set at? i havent droped the ram voltage yet settings are 5-5-5-15

yeah thats right, try 2.25 for ram voltage, and 429 fsb for 3.0Ghz

ok just changed it to 429 memv 2.25 will test it how long do i nede to run orthos before i know its stable?

won tha be slower though cause of the north bridge straps on the P5B... set ram to ddr2-800 so that its a 1:1 ratio

you can up the divider to 4:5 so your ram runs closer to ddr2 1000, but yeah do 429 * 7 and look at your dividers, and set the speed closest to ddr2 1000, and 12hrs is considers stable to most

Edit: oh yeah, set it to 1:1 best performance, so your ram will be at 429, his ram is ddr2 1000

i think its in jumperfree configuration, you'll see something like ddr2 858 (if ur fsb is 429) and you want it to be that, so if your fsb was 470, it would be ddr2 940, thats a 1:1 divider, great performance
