Bumped build price to a little over 2 grand:

Everything I need. This will be ordered this afternoon, so I'm guessing Thursday or Friday it'll get here. I don't know if you guys care of not but i'm planning to take pics from start to finish. If anything bad wrong let me know (less than 2 hours it'll be on its way).

personally i would ditch the 7900 and get a G80 or R600 when they come out. If the budget is tight the maybe just get 2gbs of ram and a G80.

all i would change is the 7900gt, no point getting all that and then skimp out on a graphics card that cant do dx10

I'm waiting till mid summer to get a DX 10 card (when there will be more options)

I am planning to do alot of multimedia stuff with this thing (converting movies to dvd, from dvd to files) I'm taking all my home movies and converting them and sending them to my family.

Plus I just want 4 gigs or RAM

Both those cases are cool, i'm just leaning toward the full tower cause it hides the front media bay and I don't plan to LED my case or display it, it'll be in the desk out of sight.

also if your definately gona go with 4gb it might be worth emailing the maker of your mobo and see if it does support 2gb sticks
