looks like a pretty solid build...only thing i would suggest is just to get vista, the upgrade redemption is pretty much a hassle to do, and a clean install is just so much better - just buy vista home premium.

you should consider and e4300, it costs slightly less than the e6300 and is a much better overclocker.
__________________i was considering that hard drive but you might want to switch to the 250gb version, it's only like ten bucks more for another 90gb, i am glad i went with the bigger drive, in a month and a half i have used 70gb

PSU- you want more than that for an 8800gts. i woulnd't recommend Hiper at all. RAM- Getting some budget DDR2 ram isn't going to get you to 3ghz with a 6300. CPU cooling- give it a go, never heard of it but the basic design looks good. The GPU is taking away money from vital components of your system. I say: CPU: E6300- $187 Mobo: S3- $110 RAM: Crucial Ballistix- $273 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565 PSU: Tagan 600W- $130- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817811003 HD: WD- $63 Sound Card- A4 SE- $50 CPU cooling- RosewillZ3- $25 Monitor-HG19-$180 Case- antec900-$90 DVD-you have OS- linux? lol, no gaming though. w/e you want $110 $1218 $282 for GPU. Maybe the 8800gts320mb?

ya ive also been wondering about going for the 320 and upgradeing other parts, i can see ram as the first upgrade, but whats wrong with the hiper? the design on it is pretty good for getting rid of unused cables to free up space in the antec, cuz ive been hearing its not an easy case to work in
__________________as for bigger harddrive i really dont see the need to, i have 114 gig HD right now and im only useing about 45gigs of space lol
