Default Need help with components of new rig

So my parents have finally agreed to letting me buy a new rig by at least the end of March, maybe earlier. Since you guys are probably the thing that actually got me into thinking about building my own rig, I figure you guys will give the best advice on a computer to buy.

Of course, I have a budget of $1500 from saved money, and I need pretty much everything (the rig in my sig is my family's) like an OS, Monitor, Keyboard and mouse, except for a printer.

So far I've been thinking:

CPU: C2D E6300 $184 shipped at the egg

MOBO: GIGABYTE DS3 $130 shipped at the egg

RAM: GSkill 2GB DDR2800 $175 shipped at the egg

VGA: EVGA 320MB 8800 GTS $306 shipped at the egg

HD: Western Digital Caviar 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache $75 shipped at the egg

CD: NEC DVD thing $34 shipped at the egg

CASE: Coolermaster Centurion 5 with window $66 shipped at the egg

PSU: Silverstone 560W $113 shipped at the egg

OS: Windows Vista Premium $120 shipped at the egg

MONITOR: Hanns G 19 inch WS $180 shipped at the egg

KEYBOARD&MOUSE: Some Logitech deal $20 shipped at the egg

TOTAL: $1403 shipped

BAM! This should help if you're on a budget, and saying you're going to build at the end of March. Q2 is when price drops. I've heard it's around April 22nd. If you can, buy everything but the processor. That is if you're patience.

The E6420 and E6320 will have 4MB cache like it's brother E6600 but with lower stock Ghz and mutipler, I think. (Released in April)

Yeah, but I've been wanting a new rig since June. I feel really impatient right now.

I couldn't wait. So, I got the E6400 > E6600 because of the price.

Okay, that makes sense, do you have suggestions on the motherboard?

This is my first build and I am using the Gigabyte Ds3-rev 3.3 with my E6400. I am on 3.2 Ghz @ STOCK volts

But...

I need my System CD to boot to desktop and the section where you press DEL for bios takes like 1 min to load. Minor annoyance but no problem for me. System CD boot problem might be how i reformatted... No idea yet. But many have had recommend this board.

I have heard the P5B is great as well.

Do you have a link to newegg for this ds3 rev 3? Because they all look like rev 2 or something. Or is it a BIOS update?

I bought this, thinking it was a rev 2.0
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128012

It came and I saw on the board, printed Rev 3.3

There are so many 320 MB 8800GTS's. Which one should I get?

EDIT: I just looked at an old faq, it said that I should probably get an Evga or XFX cause Im a beginner overclocker or something. Or should I just go for the cheapest 320 MB 8800GTS?
