you should now the 680i shipsets are really buggy, I don't know if they solved it...
and I like the p180 case, but it may be to small, also consider that, and why not just go for a gtx instead of the 640, since you are already over 2000 dollar?

If I buy the gtx, I would be well over my budget. I plan on buying the gts version now and using evga's step up program in the next 3 months to step up to the gtx. (hopefully it's price would have dropped alot by than)

i didn't now about the step up program, if that will work, go for the gts 640

doubt it. Unless I ditch the p180 case and use the money to get a gtx. But I'd rather buy a gts now and step up to a gtx later when it is a lot cheaper.
