First Time Build

This thread is *just* a little old. Everything is working fine at this point. I do have something to offer as an update, though. When I was visiting my parents in late June, I read about tjharlow's terminal block mod. Some of you may not know what it's all about, so I'll explain. Essentially, the terminal block mod makes use of a terminal barrier/block, much like the one in the image below, to distribute power to fans as an alternative to a maze of molex connectors. And because of the fact that the Stacker 830 has room for some 10 fans, I decided to make use of the mod. I'll post tjharlow's video tutorials at the end of this reply.

For now, here are the some random photos from my project, which includes lots of cable management: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Before mounting blocks: ![]() After mounting blocks: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Custom-spliced 6-to-4 pin adapter: ![]() THE MOST important part: ![]() ![]() Tutorials: Lastly, thanks for looking, and sorry for the bad photos... I was using my dad's Olympus, which is way different from my old Nikon... and not as good, either.
