This thread is *just* a little old. Everything is working fine at this point. I do have something to offer as an update, though. When I was visiting my parents in late June, I read about tjharlow's terminal block mod. Some of you may not know what it's all about, so I'll explain. Essentially, the terminal block mod makes use of a terminal barrier/block, much like the one in the image below, to distribute power to fans as an alternative to a maze of molex connectors. And because of the fact that the Stacker 830 has room for some 10 fans, I decided to make use of the mod. I'll post tjharlow's video tutorials at the end of this reply.

I also took the chance to do some cable management, which involved a lot of clipping and splicing. I went ahead and merged the GPU power cables with the PSU power cables to keep it clean (really hate molexes now that I've seen the light).

I still need to finish putting connectors on the side door fans, and I need to run a lead to the CPU heatsink fan... but otherwise it's complete. I LOVE this mod. Really.

Photos attached.

I'll post the photo progress of the terminal block mod I did on my parent's rig. For now, here are the some random photos from my project, which includes lots of cable management:

Lastly, thanks for looking, and sorry for the bad photos... I was using my dad's Olympus, which is way different from my old Nikon... and not as good, either.
