__________________Intel C2D E6750 Qimonda 2x1GB DDR2 PC-5300 Antec Nine Hundred Case Chieftec 620W PSU Radeon HD2400XT Sony NEC Optiarc DVD Writer Seagate 40GB SATAII I had to go cheap on some components. But I like my mobo/cpu/case combination. The PSU, I hope, should be good for a while, as well as the DVD drives and HDD. The RAM I plan on replacing when I have some more cash. Also going to get my hands on a CPU cooler. Don't know what one to go with yet. All in all the parts cost me 600 Euro. Everything, except the case is underway. The case still has a couple days to do on eBay before I get my hands on it. ![]() Any flaws, major problems, issues etc. The last time I built a comp was my Celeron 2.4Ghz. Quite alot of change since then. I hope I don't break anything before I get the machine started.

Those look like quite unbalanced components if you ask me... Although I'm not very familiar with the prices of components in Europe, I think you should've gotten a cheaper PSU and CPU and upgrade on some of the other components. Your video card is gonna terribly bottleneck your CPU if you plan to game on this.

With the US Dollar - Euro exchange rate going the way it is I could have saved ALOT of money by buying in the US, but it seems very few companies are willing to send parts to Europe. Perhaps something to do with the cost of providing replacements for broken parts or something.
__________________After I get some new RAM, probably some DDR2-1066MHz either 2GB or 4GB if I go with Vista, a better graphics card will be next thing I will go after. Just can't afford it right now. And I figure 50 Euro is a small price to pay for a graphics card that will be replaced in a couple months. I'm not much of a gamer. BF42 DC Mod is the only game I play online. The rest are all RTS games like Port Royale 2 and Hearts of Iron 2 Doomsday. Not exactly graphics intensive. My comp is mixed use. Alot of regular office use, some audio/video processing and lots of internet use. So I figure most of the components will suffice for a while. With the CPU, Mobo, PSU and case being good for a couple years. The RAM, graphics, HDDs, and other peripherals can be upgraded piecemeal as need and as funds permit. And the system being the way it is it should let me do a little experimenting with overclocking, which I haven't done before. Thanks for the comments.
