I ordered this the day before yesterday, with 3 day shipping, so I should get it monday when I get home from school. Tell me what you all think, and if you have any suggestions, tips, whatever, they would be nice.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131196 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116037 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220144 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133154 It will use my 7950GT and my 7600GT will go back in my sig rig. As for a hard drive, optical drive, and all that, I'm sort of hoping they fall out of the sky...... I'll pull the dvd drive and a 40gb from my sig rig I guess. Before everyone says it..... I know the board can take faster RAM. How are my chances on overclocking that to 1066? Or above? And what experiance have people here had with E2140's? on newegg multipule people said they had then at 3.2 with no problem, which is an 100% OC.

That was a good argument with well cited sources.
I've never heard anything bad about them, and lots of really good things about them. The worse ive seen is dumbasses on newegg who buy like a sempron and 478 board and break it an then give it one egg.

I've always used ASUS boards and no issues.
Anyhow, I'd suggest to replace a couple of things. Case, that case is good but way too much money. Instead, get the CoolerMaster 690 which it'd be good for better air-flow and for only $39.99: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...tCode=10006342 w/FREE shipping. The RAM, Patriot is certainly not one well known brand for overclocking, for that, most people would recommend the G.Skill, Crucial (which I don't trust nor recommend) and my favorite XTreem, all in DDR2 800 as well, so I'll recommend, highly, the XTreem DDR2 800 kit for $62.99 AMIR: Link Here. Or the XTreem Dark Series for $39.99 AMIR: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820313011 Both of those RAM kits are well known for being extremely good for overclocking and for the price? it's much better than the Patriot kit. |

I wanted a full tower, and the armor is a case I have always wanted.... I thout about a 900, but the armor is so huge it has limitless options, if i want 8800 SLI at some point, sure, if i want internal WC, sure, if i want to stick another PSU in, sure. That case does look nice tho, I've never really looked at it. I have a friend building right now, and im helping him with parts, and i will certanially suggest him that case. As to the RAM, from what I know, MOST of the patriot extreme kits are D9's, and if not, I think I can sell that for 50 or so, and at a ten dollar loss, pick up some other RAM. If I do upgrade from that RAM soon, It will probably be to DDR2 1066, as the board supports it anyway.
