Overclocked and Underpaid

This is the complete rig I'm considering building. I'm giving myself a $2000 max budget, but the lower the better. If a <$500 Penryn comes out anytime soon then I'd probably adjust to fit that, but until then, this is the best I could come up with. Is this a worthwhile build?

looks good to me, I too would recommend a Tuniq, however the 9700 isn't a bad cooler and is really pretty...

What size screen you using? if your bigger than 19inch then stick with the GTX but if your smaller than 19 inch, go for two GTs.

Get this PSU for 169.99$, It's a thermaltake 850w which is great for future upgrading.

anyway, I love my 9700, and I have had friends disappointed by the tower. personally, I'd stick with that choice.

The 8800GT is a pretty small margin behind the GTX in most benchmarks so two of them in SLI even with a performance gain as meager as 150% would slaughter one.
