Ugh how could you go from a stacker 832 to a cm690, I sold my 690 to get ur stacker and would never go back.

I live in a college dorm room. That case was simply too big to fit anywhere nicely. Trust me, I am hating installing **** into this case with how crapmed it is! Ive already lost half the skin on my thumbs from getting nicked, scratched, lacerated, and snapped at!

And I havent even tried to install the motherboard yet!

And excuse my crappy phone camera.. its not very consistent

I have a question about your CM 690 case. How did you take off the front panel? It was pretty difficult for me and I had to use more force than I wanted. Is there an easier way?

You got to pull pretty hard the first few times, but each time you do it... It gets easier and easier.

Yeah the first time I took it off I thought it was gonna brake the handle off!

As Semper said, it may get easier with time - I have no way of finding out because I am pretty much done with the front panel unless my fan controller comes in soon!

I cant wait till Thursday - CPU Cooler (TRUE120) comes in and I can throw in the motherboard and everything else and FIRE IT UP!

Mine, after taking it off about 5 times, had a problem where the plastic pins would not hold the front panel on very tightly (the two top ones) So I took some Dell screws (i hate dell, but they make some cool screws to screw stuff in) and i put those in the plastic pins. It kep it nice and tight, alsmot new. But yeah, after you take off the front panel once, you know how to take it off again, and it's easier. First time, it's like: Holy S*** i don't want to break this thing! Then it's like, no big deal after that.

ive been thinking about ordering a lapped true from crazypc... just wondering if i could get some pics of the lapping they did. a good job of lapping? i really dont want to mess it up if i do it myself.

its really good - however they do not clean it at all... there was copper dust in the crevices of mine !

make sure you clean it first, but I cant take pics of it now... i have a good seat on it

other than that - its an amazing deal for such a good job
