Default Build for a friend - 400 dollars

That is his budget. No monitor, keyboard, mouse, or OS needed. Overclockability is a must, I'll do that for him. Intel is what he wants. He wants to play some counter strike and maybe battlefield, no crysis or anything like that. 8600gt should be fine or the like. Newegg wishlists would be great.

Oh, and all parts must be new.

No MIR If possible.

How about this. OC or non-OC is fine.

E2160 $71
Abit IP35-E $60
Crucail Ballistix DDR2-800 $35
Antec EarthWatts 380W $35
WD 320GB AAKS $75
MSI 8600GT $70
CM Elite 330 $40
Asus DVD $15

Total $401 after MIR.

If a build is possible without MIR, that would be great. We're just kids and would rather do this ourselved than get our parents involved with MIR and stuff.

Thanks though. I'll ask him if he wants to do the mail in rebates for a better system.

Wow, that's actually pretty nice. Only thing I don't know about is the power supply and the motherboard.

Oh darn, no dvd burner
Still nice though.

I'll ask him if 450 is possible.
