What's the best computer I can build for $700 canadian?
I'd prefer it if the parts were from NCIX (Because I can pick up the parts at the NCIX store nearby rather than wait for shipping and stuff) What I don't need: A monitor Speakers Keyboard Mouse CD/DVD drive OS EDIT: And I use VERY little hard drive space so something like a 160gb hard drive is still ok with me

In all probability you want:
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 ABIT IP35-E (unless the Gigabyte DS3L is cheaper in Canada) Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 - currently $35 after MIR in the States. ANTEC Earthwatts 500 ($60 in the States) Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 drive of your choice based on size. A DVD Drive with a SATA connector (Samsung, ASUS and Lite On are all OK) EVGA or XFX 9600GT

LOL in NCIX the E2160 is cheaper then the E2140.
Um maybe this will do the job: CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E2160 or something higher Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-P35-DS3l Memory: Crucial Ballistix 2x1 GB PC-6400 CPU Fan: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Video Card: 9600 GT Galaxy KFA2 HDD: WD 500 GB SATA II 7200 RPM PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power 500 Watts Money Budget: 700.00 Total: 670.60 Change: 29.40 You can spend anything extra with a few dollars

First of all, is this a gaming system? Or just an internet terminal?
If it's gaming you plan on doing before you get a new monitor, speakers, cd/dvd drive and a new OS (are you seriously looking to run vista on 768mb of pc3200 ram?), you should consider buying a new cpu/mobo/ram/gpu. My suggestions for your budget: CPU: Intel E2180 pricematch with Buy.com = 83.51 Mobo: Gigabyte P35-DS3L pricematch with directcanada.com = 86.05 RAM: Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 = 69.99 - 39.99 after MIR GPU: Galaxy 8800GT pricematched with directcanada.com = 232.90 - 192.90 after MIR With this setup you should replace the Power Supply: Coolermaster Extreme Power 500w pricematched with directcanada.com = 39.96 Total thus far = $512.41 before mail in rebates, $442.41 after. Leaving you $257.59 for what ever else you may need. A little advice based on experience. Don't by something you'll need to replace in order to upgrade, like the motherboard. Research your hardware purchases before emptying your wallet or you will regret it.

Because he lives in the same province as the store, he'll have to pay both pst and gst. When I order I only pay one of the above (can't remember which) because I live out of province.
