Latest Update: Post #19
I'm building a computer for my brother and here's what I got for him so far. Case - COSMOS RC-1000-KSN1-GP Motherboard - GA-P35-DS3L Processor - q6600 Heatsink - Tuniq Tower 120 Graphic Card - eVGA 9800GX2 Memory - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Power Supply - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX Hard Drive - Seagate 7200.11 500GB Optical Drive - Samsung DVD Burner Is this rig alright for someone who plays games everyday at 1920x1080 resolution hoping to max everything out besdies Crysis? He also have no plans for SLI. He hope he can overclock his quad to around 3.6ghz and was wondering if there's any problem with the cooling. I'm trying to build this for him under $1500 but it's a little over and was wondering if there's good suggestions on how to adjust this rig by getting cheaper parts without a lot of loss on performance based on his needs. Thanks in advance. Last edited by glocknyne : 06-27-08 at 01:30 AM. |

Why not a Cosmos-S (RC-1100) ?. Otherwise solid build good work.

Great, I was going to suggest a PSU with more rails anyway, but I see you beat me to it. High end video cards like those listed can eat up some power, so you're going to need them.
