best bang for the buck ?
DFI Blood Iron / Gigabyte DS3R / New gigabyte DS5 something,
E2160 Oc'ed 3.5+ / E8400 But i guess the E2160 architecture is dinosaur age compared tto the E8400, I guess the E8400 is way better

IMO, you can't go wrong with a e8400 and a DFI DK p35.
__________________That board is more than capable of getting an e8400 to 4.0ghz. I had a gigabyte, don't like it because of its massive vdroop.

Yeah, a blood iron with a E8400 would be a good choice. If you want a quad get a Q6700.
