Well for a start get rid of that IDE hard drive

Also, i would get a different power supply. I for one have never heard of that brand before, and 750w sounds too much for that system

Change to a SATA HDD. There is no reason to get IDE. Can you link the PSU? I have never heard of it. The PSU is a very important component. A cheap one can damage major components like MB, RAM and video card.

Extra value PSUs are generally a bad idea. Get a corsair or themaltake.
I would change the motherboard to a Gigabyte GA-P35_DS3L, but that is just my personal grudge against ASUS.
The e8500 isn't really worth the extra over the e8400 unless you aren't overclocking.
As others have said, IDE is a dead platform, go SATA.
19" widescreens look a little pointless to me...they're too narrow IMO. Then again trying to find a 4:3 screen now is almost impossible. If you can try to stretch the budget to at least a 20" widescreen.

Can't beat eBuyer IMO, free delivery good customer service -
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132563

Also Maxtor are a bit shady as far as reliability. Their newer (seagate based) drives seem okay, but their old stuff was pretty unreliable. Try to get a western digital or seagate drive if possible.

Did you add VAT? eBuyer already includes VAT in the price. Its the same price except with free P&P.

The gigabyte motherboard would be a better choice in my opinion.

Getting a G92 GTS is a huge increase in performance over an 8800GT.
