So after a ton of going back and forth, here's what I've got:
http://haveuseanme.googlepages.com/build Frys and Tigerdirect purchases have already been made -- I have yet to finalize anything from NE (except the PSU). Should I go with another site that does not charge me for tax, or just suck up the 33 dollars and go with the egg? I love Newegg but hate taxes and shipping. Is there anythingu guys would suggest I change before I go through with it? Side note - primary budget was 500. Then 600. Now 704 ![]() Thanks for looking; I'll have pictures up along the way (although you guys may not really care about a mediocre build :P) |

Why the ECS MB with the 8400?
Also, I try and stay away from cheap power supplies. There is a 650TX on buy.com for CHEAP (site won't load for me so I can't link).

The ECS came with it in a combo deal. I'll be selling it on eBay or elsewhere and coupling the e8400 with the P35 DS3L.
As for the PSU - I kinda jumped on it fast. Saw it over on slickdeals and figured OCZ was quite reputable, 600W would suffice, and $40 after a 30 dollar MIR was pretty good :X. |
