Here's the specs so far for my upcoming system and the parts I've chosen. Feel free to give input and suggestions! My goal is to overclock a little but not that much. Maybe 400 fsb if that's possible with the cpu. As for games I'm planning to play at 1920x1200 so I would need a system powerful enough to handle that.

Yeah I do plan on waiting a little, in fact I have to if I want the video card I listed. I'm thinking about buying it mid July or so (or whenever 4870's come to shops).

Not many replies so far, how should I interpret that? That all parts are good and there are no problems? I do have a few additional questions:
__________________1. Which of the following ATI manufacturers would you recommend: Sapphire, Club 3D, Asus, Gainward? 2. For memory I have thought about G.Skill, OCZ or Mushkin. As far as I know and as far as I have read on the forums, all 3 seem to be pretty good companies to go with. Which one is most stable for overclock? Also OCZ seems to have higher quality version available called Reaper which seems to at least have better heatsink than the regular version. Is this much better? 3. Is the powersupply powerful enough?

lol, people in American sleep, you know, it's only 11AM out here. ATI's best manufacturer is Visiontek, as they have a lifetime warranty; all the other ones are for a shorter period. I use G.Skill and have no complaints, and they also have some worthy heatspreaders of their own:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231184 If those lack of reviews are scaring you away, I have the same chips, just without the heatspreaders: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166 Your PSU that you selected will be fine for a single video card, if you're trying to CF later you're going to need a more powerful model. Other than that, the rig looks fine, have at it when you're ready!

Well I have ordered the parts, should arrive sometime during July (I have to wait for the 4870 a bit). I might post some pics of the assembly phase if anyone wants to see.

The Maximus II formula is an excellent choice for P45 chipset especially since it is DDR2 , P45 , not too expensive and ROG
