Get a HD4850 for a GPU, or wait for a HD4870

ATI? Sorry, I'm an Nvidia fanboy. Also, to "A Russian": I am also a cooling fanatic.

PSU) You don't need 1kw PSU. The 9800GTX uses at most 140w. I suggest the Corsair 750TX.
GPU) What's your resolution? Next NVidia or ATI? CPU) Depends on resolution and your other program needs. Mobo) Depends on GPU, Intel boards overclock so much better than NVidia, and they are more compatible with RAM, however, no SLI. RAM) Depends on the mobo HDD) If you're going for 10k, go for a velociraptor, it's faster than the 150. Or you can wait when the 150GB velociraptor.

CPU) " I mainly game and use photoshop. HDD) The 150GB Raptor X is 10k. I am going to be running 1 video card for now. It's either going to be the 9800GTX, 9800GTX+, or the GTX 260.
