Default computer crashes when i try to play CoH

so i finally put my computer together today....i installed vista...then updated drivers on my 8800 Gt....but when i try to Play CoH(Company of Heroes) that came with the 8800Gt, the screen turns blue and it crashes, then restarts...what am i doing wrong?

i used the directx 10 patch that came with it, but is there more im supost to patch?

just installed Oblivion also....same thing it says something about nv4_mini...but it goes to quick to notice anything. uhg..must be something wrong with my 8800 GT

when you say you updated your drivers, did you uninstall the old ones first?

ok i got orthos running right now...its going fine...buts its testing the Cpu and RAM, not the 8800

Are both these games patched to the latest versions? Both Oblivion and Company of Heroes are ridiculously buggy. Oblivion had a problem with onboard sound drivers and Company of Heroes was coded by a room full of monkeys who thought they were writing Shakespeare. I still get random lockups and reboots with CoH.
Company of Heroes Patch Site - Relic is too busy patching and repatching the game to compile all the different patches, so you're going to have to download them all and install in consecutive order.
