Default Is my build THAT bad?

Hello,

on another forum someone asked to build a computer for them (theory). so I say well here's a good gaming computer

E8400
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
2GB RAM
9800GTX
PC P&C 610W Silencer
160GB HDD's in RAID0 + extra HDD if necessary
DVD+-RW
case (Antec P180)

someone completely destroyed me calling me a ****ing retard and saying that

Quote:
You produce the most random ****ed up configuration of parts I've ever seen.

RAM: 2GB PC6400: You don't give him 4GB of RAM yet you are giving him a RAID0 / Raptor Drive?

GFX: 8800GTS 512MB/9800GTX: And then to top it off, you give someone looking to build a high-end gaming computer last generations BUDGET cards. This is the area where you kind of want to BLOW YOUR LOAD. This is where the build just makes me laugh, I mean I think my 15 year old brother who barely understands the market would at least put the best god damn ****ing card in a gaming setup with such a moderate budget.

So yes, your build is ****ing retarded and deserves a lot more than a sigh.
and since this is a warcraft 3 forum everyone agreed with him, because he 'builds computers for a living'

***?

i found it ironic that he flames me for using budget cards, and HIS build had a 3870. no not even the X2......i had a 9800GTX.

He probably builds eMachines for a living, and gets all bent out of shape when someone builds their own computer, instead of buying one of his $400 pre-built eMachines from Wal-Mart.

Out of curiousity, did this person offer any insight into what he considered the 'proper' build?
