Change the motherboard to something with x38 or x48 if you're going to go crossfire. That SLI motherboard won't work. Also, if you have a Frys near by, the q9450+ECS mobo is $250. You can probably sell off the motherboard for $20-30. Your ram link leads to the CPU.

I'd wait for the Rampage Extreme as it is supposed to appear mid-July. Also I'd go with a Q9450 or a Q6700. Case choice is excellent.

i would really not buy DDR3 right now, costs to much and not faster then DDR2.

maybe this or this for way cheaper

I wouldn't get 2 x 4870 the 4870x2 will b coming out prob the end of august and it will b more powerful then crossfired 4870s and cost less.

It is much faster at speeds of 1600 mhz and above(DDR3). That is where it gets a bit expensive though.
