Lets get to buildin'!

Unboxed the motherboard and Xigmatek. After placing it on the socket I had some serious doubts that it was going to fit in my case!

I put the fan on and realized to screw down the bolt thru kit I needed to remove the fan again. Not a fun job. The fan mount rubber things are a pain in the arse for big fingers.

Reinstalled fan after bolting down. With OCZ freeze this time! Also, ram installled.

Gutted the parts out of my previous case and dropped her in, oh so gingerly.

Side angle

Put in the new fans!

then power supply (wiring is bad, but I don't have a dremel!)

Turned the power on after dropping in to UV lights. Hubba Hubba!

Final finished product, windows installed and case side on.

Started overclocking again last night. I had it at a pretty lame overclock of 3.2 Ghz for awhile just because I was lazy. I'm trying to get my max stable overclock now.

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=437091

Not to bad IMO. I should have done more research when buying my processor. The E2180's 10x multiplier is pretty much pointless. The max FSB I can use with it is 310 at 1.6v...I haven't even reached my FSB limit on the 9x multiplier yet.

My overclock right now is 380x9 at 1.6v. Keep in mind my board only cost $45 when I bought it. It only has a few voltage options, stock vid (1.325, which sucks), +10%, +25% or +35%

Which means my options are

1.325
1.421
1.6
1.725.

So they're pretty limited. Don't give me BS about using 1.6v. My temps are fine, and the system is only supposed to last me about 6 more months.
