so yesterday i went into the BIOS on my gigabyte p35 ds3l MOBO and upped the FSB on my intel q66. i already had it clocked at 2.6 GHZ and it ran fine. so i bumped it up to 3.15 GHZ (350 x9). i ran a stress test for 8 hours, no crashes, so the system seemed stable. i tested it out in an hour or so of CS:S again, no problems. so i went into BIOS again and again moved up the FSB, this time to 3.2 GHz (356x9) and restarted the computer. now it would not boot past the boot screen where it says "boot from CD". so i shut it down manually and tried again. this time the vista message came up telling me that the systems power had been interrupted and asked if i wanted to boot in safe mode. said no and decided to boot normally again, after all the jump from total stability at 3.15 and not booting at 3.2 seemed not plausible. so the computer restarted and it loaded up to the same error screen and i said again boot normally. it kept looping this from the first boot screen to the error message. so after about 4 tries i went into BIOS and reset the CPU clock to default 2.4 GHz (266x9). it got to the windows screen and then failed to boot. so i turned off the power tried to reboot. now when i try to turn it on, it wont do anything. no boot screen, nothing. just a black screen on my monitor. i could really use some help here. have I fried my CPU?

Did you up the voltages? I'm amazed that, if left stock, it made it to 3.15Ghz.

reset your CMOS.... then next time you go to the bios and put in 3.2, up the voltages
edit: you prob don't need to up the NB yet, but def the proc, and maybe your ram

there is two ways. there is either a jumper on two of three pins neat the battery on your Motherboard, you need to switch the jumper to the other pin(keeping the middle pin the same) and then move it back. or you can take out the power cord, turn off the PSU, and take out the CMOS batter for like 20-30 seconds.
