Yeah..external sound is an option.

It's too bad they laid it out like that.

That's one thing I like about the Gigabyte (wow...I'm turning into a Gigafanboi )

You can use a PCIE soundcard above the tri-SLI if you like.

That Tagan PSU, it doesn't look like it has three 8-pin PCI-e connectors. I'm only seeing two 6+2-pin connectors.

With that said, I would get the PCP&C 1200W PSU with three 6-pin and three 6+2-pin connectors.

I know the money isn't probably an issue to you, but if I were you I would go with the 920 now and save the extra cash to upgrade to the first i7 8-core when it comes out (which shouldn't be too long). Also I would go for an Asus board, since that have appeared to take memory speeds in a more stable nature during recent reviews I have read.

It has already been stated money isn't an issue. Might as well get the unlocked multi with the 965.

Yeah it's fine. This PCP&C is also SLI certified for three GTX 280's. So I'll probably get this one, or the Thermaltake ToughPower 1500w with the same price:

Well, then the 8-cores come out, I will think of an upgrade to another extreme one from that family. I'm also going to OC this system like hell and I'm planning to go with Phase Change, so an Extreme processor will be nesscesary!

Thanks,

Get the PCP&C. 1200W is already more than enough for tri-SLI
They are probably the best PSUs on the market.

I have two 24" 1920x1200 Dells at work and they're awesome, I am guessing the 30" Dell would be of great quality.

The SSDs will outperform the raptors in gaming, but not by much of a noticable amount. The failure rate of current SSDs is pretty high, and XP/Vista are not made to treat SSDs properly, so they treat them like HDDs. If it were me I'd wait until Windows 7 and give SSDs some more time to mature. If any one of your 3 SSDs failed you'd have to re-install your OS and anything else on the drive because RAID-0 offers no protection. This of course is true even with a couple Vraptor drives in RAID-0, but raptors do not fail all that often.

PCP&C are great PSUs, I'd recommend either that or a Corsair if at all possible.

Before I bought my monitor, I head nothing but great things about Samsung. Now that I have one, I can't imagine buying anything else. I have my laptop sitting right beside my desktop monitor (I'm overclocking the desktop and have the data on the laptop) and the pictures are noticeably different.

well, your Samsung 2493HM seems to have a TN panel, which is not exactly what I'm looking for.

Those Dell and HP use S-IPS panels which can provide the best picture quality. I'm just worried about the input lag since they're 2560x1600.

Here is a Samsung monitor with a S-IPS panel. I still think my monitor's picture is wicked awesome.
