dude. would u spend 3500 bucks on a monitor? it is nice tho, i'll give u that.
i'm begging u...go with a couple of raptors in raid 0. even if the drives do fail, the only things u should put on a raid 0 config is stuff with CDs like games and the OS. and apps. but putting songs and movies and stuff on a raid 0 config is just dumb.
pcp&p is a good brand for psus, and sorry for suggesting the ABS...i didn't look at the pci-e pins
for a case, i suggest a real big one, like a lian li...FrozenCPU.com has cases that are meant for watercooling, which means they have to be big. personally, i'd invest in a lian-li armoursuit.
and the corsair RAM aren't in market right now.
and also, ur planning on watercooling everything? like the CPU, GPU, NB & SB, MOSFETS, HDDs, and RAM? cause then you'd need multiple loops...and it would cost tons. besides, unless u got 15k SAS or SCSI drives, u won't need watercooling, just some airflow. The armoursuit case has excellent airflow for the HDD. The SB and NB don't have to be watercooled, u could stick a heatsink on them. i think mosfets are pointless to watercool, but if u gots a skulltrail or something extreme, then ya. and i don't think the RAMs need watercooling, especially if you but those Corsair modules that already have excellent heatsinks and comes with a fan system.

What part of "money doesn't matter" don't you understand?

the part where u pay $3500 for a screen.
if i had $10000 to spend, i'd go top end, but at least i'd save some money for future components.
but u know watever...if she wants it, she can have it.

She wants S-IPS and I know Samsung is top-notch. I'm sure that monitor is amazing? Would I get it? No, money is an object to me. But if I had the money to spend and components to accommodate it, sure. The best things usually cost a pretty penny. Or in this case, 349999 pennies.

This seems to be a nice LCD but doesn't have HDMI, I don't understand what was the point when they decided not to put an HDMI on this high-end LCD.

I guess I'm going with Dell 3008WFP, it seems to be a very solid LCD and it's only 1,599.

Thanks,

I'm convinced that SSDs are not the best choice, so I will go with four WD VelociRaptor 300GBs in RAID0 and a WD Caviar Black 1TB.

for cooling I like to watercool VGAs, MOSFETs, NB and SB, and get a phase change for the CPU!
