I have a couple Koolance fans I absolutely love. I can't say anything about their waterblocks, though.

I think a pair of CrossfireX 4870 X2's will last you quite a while.

Has a best X58 board emerged yet? I would imagine it's between EVGA and Asus.

There will be more models.

Asus & Gigabyte are the best so far from what I've seen. The EVGA also looks pretty good.

I'm surprised at how much Giga has come forward. I was always about Asus, but I switched teams for X58.

Given how awesome the TPower I45 is I'm pretty sure I'll regret my impatience when the TPower X58 lands. Either that or the DFI X58 will be amazing, or maybe one of the Foxconn boards will take the crown..

Lots of good choices this time around for those who wait. I went with P6T because it seemed solid enough and it's all they had in stock.

You're right with that.

I don't think you can go wrong with these boards. They are all very solid boards.

do you NEED the extreme edition CPU?

price may not be an issue, but nevertheless can you not just save a bit of cash for something else and OC a cheaper model?
