Thats what I was lookin for

I was interested in how the SLI spacing worked out since I am getting WC cards soon and I have a raid card that the SATA cables go straight out of the board parallel to the PCI backplane, perpendicular to the motherboard.

How did you link the video cards together?

You may need to modify the cards PCI plates, they were originally dual slot but I re-fitted them with single slot brackets so the PCI slots underneath them could be used.

Also Ive only just noticed how nice a dedicated sound card makes things sound

EDIT: I used one slot (I think) SLI Spacing Fittings with dual sided blocks.

Due to ongoing problems with the Gigabyte motherboards the board has been returned after 4 faulty boards (2 of which D.O.A) to a ASUS Rampage II Extreme.

Since the Rampage went in it has not crashed...
The gigabyte would shut it down every 1-6 hours .
