well I got distracted but am back working on this today...

set the timings back to stock on the ram and dropped it back to 800.

passed mem test and OCCT like it always has and has been running prime95 for an hour now with no problems at a cool 50deg

when it failed prime 95 in the past I just get a black screen (no signal) and no response, is this normal? I see mention of blue screen failures.

Sometime after 6 hrs in Prime 95 it locked up (came back to check on it and screen was black saying no signal), raised cpu voltage back to 1.34375 and started prime 95 again.

real temp showed a max of 50 deg during the testing now and previously.

like suggested I'm keeping the ram stock speeds until I get it to pass

currently it's testing at 4.1ghz with a 1.36250 voltage it failed at 1.35625
it passed prime 95 last night for 11 hours running a 4ghz setting at 1.35000.

fsb is 1.35
mem is 2.1
SPP is 1.45
NF200 is 1.35

never saw temps above 51deg according to real temp.
if it won't stay stable here I'll drop it back down and then I'll start working on the ram

4.1 setting is stable at 1.3625 @ 1825 9x in OCCT for two hours, temp rose modestly to 53 deg all other voltages are the same as above. I'll run prime 95 before bed.

4.1 ghz stable in prime 95 for 20 hours. I'm going to let it run for the another 4 hours just so I can say it'll do it and I'll throw up a screen shot when I stop the test.

I'll probably tinker with the ram a little bit tomorrow to see what I can get it to do since it's still unlinked 800mhz 2.1 and 5 5 5 15 timings.

Any advice on timing changes?

Nice job, time to get to work on the ram now You might be able to get 900Mhz at 4-4-4-12 which would be 1:1? Have you tried linked + synched then just work on your timings?

nope haven't given it a shot yet, I'll get her going here shortly though and we'll see how it pans out. I'll post up more progress as I make it.

Any more suggestions out there? lol

so I've tried linked and synced and increased the voltage from 2.1 to eventually 2.2 and it froze after 5-15 minutes in OCCT.

I figured I could get it to go faster than this.

I'm a tard and forgot to update this.

The boards dual memory controller was bad. I submitted an RMA it was approved, the board was replaced, I did a little cable management and am going to put the setting back this evening and see if the RAM will work now.

Like others have said, just set your RAM to stock and work on that later untill you have a stable OC on your CPU, another thing, i've found to get better results benchmarking with my ram linked and synched at 875mhz, 4-4-4-12 compared to higher Mhz at 5-5-5-15. Apparently Nvidia chipsets like tighter timings more than Mhz.
i second leaving the ram at stock. try and get your oc 24/7 stable first and then try to push the ram. otherwise you have too many variables to sort through to find whats making the oc unstable.
