Anyways I would have gotten the eVGA x58 board but it was OOS when I ordered my system, so I went with the Asus Rampage II Extreme - and it's the best x58 board out/on the market.

Anyways, get a TRUE - (i.e. Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme) because they are the best HSF.
Good luck
I agree with the RIIE, I LOVE mine.

You DEFINATELY need to water cool that rig. These chips take tiny vcore, but they heat up quite a bit.

Definately do a custom water build, you can get everything here.

Coming from a guy with 8GB of RAM...

12GB is way way way way more than you need. 6GB is a great spot right now for the i7's, I'd suggest that. If you really want three GPUs, you should get a monitor that will actually stress them. Either the 3007WFP-HC, 3008WFP from Dell or something like the Gateway XHD3000. The 3008 and XHD3000 will double as HD TVs since they have connections for multiple sources.

update guys:

Computer is up and running, got the tri-sli pumping out Crysis 64 bit in DX10 A 1920x1200, all very high settings and 16x AA with VSync, never drops below 55fps. Running @4.0GHz on air, and pics will follow shortly. I do need a bit of help with OCing it though, can't find anything really super stable on my evga X58 SLI mobo. Anyone with i7 965 OC experience plz help!

Other than that I love this rig and I plan to keep it for a good long time.

Who cares how much you spent on it. You bought this rig just to max out Crysis ?. And 12GB is not needed.

I hate you. Congrats on the rig... that would be nice to have. Mine can pretty much max Crysis at 1920x1200, with 4xAA only (not 16x). I guess that's where that thirds GTX280 kicks in.

Something I've noticed gives a nice little boost in benchmark scores (because with either of our rigs it won't actually make in game differences) is overclocking your graphics card.. Dunno if you have yet, but try to do it even beyond EVGA's factory OC. You'll get more points in Vantage and that's always fun.

I was considering going i7, but no need yet. In a year or two depending on how games are performing then we'll see.. right now I love my Q9550. Anyway enjoy your build. Although it is a bit over the top, so is a Ferrari, and anyone who criticizes it is just jealous .

Well, thanks for your input, and in America everyone is entitled to their opinion, yours just happens to be wrong Maybe I have a reason to have 12GB, and no I didn't build it just to max out Crysis, I BUILT it because Ive always wanted to build an extreme rig. I really dont need people like you in my thread so if you could see your way out I would really appreciate it, thanks.

Nice rig man.. That thing is sick. How much did all that cost when you were done?
