"Shocks, pegs ... lucky!"

Looks like a good machine coming together. What CAD software will you be using?

I'll be using Pro/E for the most part and a bit of Solid Works..

Sooo.. I got the computer up and running with the stock cooler.. I over came problems like the motherboard not posting with all the memory in place and vista not installing on the 1TB harddrive(for temporary purposes).. I ended up using the 600 powersupply from my last computer since I just short-circuited the motherboard.. I'll replace it once my PC&Power comes in..

I've only done one mod to the case so far.. I removed the wires for the blue LEDs from the front fan.. I plan on replacing the blue power LED with a white one which is hopefully an acceptable color temperature(neutral white, minimal blue tint).. I'll added another resistor to bring the brightness down and probably add a capacitor in parallel to have a cool fading effect when it's in standby.. Oh I just got an idea! There are some/a blue LED/s on the motherboard that I don't want so I'm going to see if i can cover them with some quantum dots( ) to make them white..

Before I get the white LEDs in, I'll probably have time to perform the stealth drive mod on the DVD drive I have.. Hopefully that will add to the minimal-ish kinda theme I'm hoping for..

I ordered a TRUE but without the 1366 mounting hardware or the fan mounts.. Does anyone know where I can get this stuff cheap? I'm thinking about order 5 or so Noctura NF-P12's to replace my case fans and for the TRUE.. But that's going to be kinda expensive..

Should I post pics?

(BTW, I ordered 10 white 3mm LEDs and I only want 1 so if anyone wants them for cheap just pm me..)
