It's true that quality is a big issue, but my secondary rig (Apevia dreamer II w/psu) is running fine after 8 years. And yes, that's with the stock APEVIA psu, but with such high grade components I would definitely not cheap out on the psu as it could shortage out all your goodness

A-Data are Quality. I just bought A-Data 2x2GB DDR2 800 popped them in started running. Passed memtest. Exactly like my 2x1Gb Kit when i bought them. In HK A-Data are probably the most bought. All the builds i make are with A-Data and all of them work falwlessly. The Higher end RAM can OC pretty well 1000mhz+. They are the second largest RAM Module vendors in the World.

But i would change the RAIDMAX PSU.

Seven more dollars and you can get the G.Skill 4GB DDR2-800 PI Edition kit from Newegg!

Better cooling and lower latency

I personally don't think that buying a ASUS motherboard with a NVIDIA chipset is a good idea, I have many friends who hated their ASUS boards w/ NVIDIA chipsets.

awe man I wish I had known all of this a couple of hours ago. If anything goes wrong, I let you know so you can slap me in the face with your "I told you so"s. If I have no problems, I'll turn the tables on you. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAH!!!!!! But anyway, I'll just see how things go.

EDIT: I mean I ran on a generic PSU that came with an apevia case for 8 years and it's still running, it's just if you want to risk it or not =p

I guess it's risk I'm going to have to take. But that's okay right? It's my first build, and I'm still learning. So it doesn't work. I'll send it back! It's really not a big deal.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention that it's covered by NewEgg's Limited 30-Day Return Policy which means I can return it for refund within 30 days. Should I or should I give it a shot?
